Zimmer® Computer Assisted Solutions (ORTHOsoft® ) for Total Knee Arthroplasty

Zimmer Computer Assisted Solutions are designed to provide the surgeon with real-time, intraoperative data.  This data provides enhanced visibility in MIS procedures and aids the surgeon in consistent, precise, bone cuts which facilitate improved implant placement and alignment.  Zimmer CAS TKA applications allow surgeon specific customization to maintain their current workflow navigating as much or as little of the procedure as they would like using both existing instrumentation and the option to utilize CAS specific instrumentation.  As a result of this course, participants will be able to:

  • discuss appropriate indications for CAS navigation technology utilizing Zimmer’s CAS navigation system and instrumentation
  • review the OS Knee Application and select the appropriate surgical workflow.
  • identify correct tracker placement
  • demonstrate how to properly digitize and landmark the knee
  • apply navigation using the OS Knee Application and OS instrumentation on anatomical material
