Pre-TKA Solutions

The Pre-TKA course is designed for sports medicine, total joint and general orthopaedic surgeons and will review the multiple solutions available for pre-total knee patients. The course will cover solutions available for the treatment of osteochondral defects of the knee, patello-femoral joint pain and medial and lateral condyle pain. DeNovo® NT Natural Tissue Graft, Gender Solutions™ Patello-Femoral Joint system and the Zimmer® Unicompartmental High Flex Knee will be featured in this course. - analyze patient indications and diagnostic exams in order to select the best solution
- compare and contrast the multiple options that are available for osteochondral defects
- demonstrate proper milling techniques when implanting the PFJ system
- apply the spacer block surgical technique and describe the intramedullary and extramedullary techniques that are used with the Zimmer Unicompartmental High Flex Knee
- discuss the science and the role of biologics in patient management
- review the bi-compartmental solutions for patients with condyle and patello-femoral pain.
